The Centre for Movement, Occupational and Rehabilitation Sciences brings together three key ingredients: RESEARCH, EDUCATION and CARE.
Our Centre is underpinned by a strong, well-published RESEARCH group, the Movement Science Group, along with clinical expertise, rehabilitation, knowledge and care of adults and children with neurological conditions.
Our flagship Clinical Exercise and Rehabilitation Unit based at the Centre for Sports enables adults and children living with disability to undertake exercise in a supported environment with our clinical expertise and research excellence.
The Fit to Study Project is investigating the nature of PE lessons and the impact they have on children's activity in school. Visit the study website at www.fit-to-study.org/ for more information
The Director of the Centre is Professor Helen Dawes, the Elizabeth Casson Chair.
