Full Time, Fixed Term - Support

We are currently looking for a Research Funding Administrator, based within the Research and Business Development Office, for a two year fixed term period. You will support areas of Health related research within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, particularly working closely with the Oxford Institute of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Research (OxINMAHR).

The overall purpose of the post is to develop and promote research support for Health and related academic disciplines, and to optimise opportunities for funded research. The post-holder will also advise, guide and support academic staff applying for external grants, with a focus on the pre and post award financial management of grants, where appropriate.

You will be:

  • Working to support academics submit research applications for external funding
  • Establishing links with existing and new researchers to promote and develop collaborations
  • Helping to identify new funding opportunities.

You should have:

  • A degree or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of higher education and the research funding environment
  • Be an effective team worker, who can work on their own initiative
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
