Are you interested in healthcare technology and innovation? Would you like to be supported to develop a medtech solution to an unmet healthcare need? The University of Oxford is launching a Biodesign Programme (oxfordbiodesign.com), and are looking to recruit 4 Fellows to be employed full-time for 1 year from September 2016. Fellows should have a background in a related discipline (e.g. clinical professionals, medical sciences, engineering, computer science, business) and can currently be students, employees in the public sector, academia or industry.
Fellows will form a team that will be guided through the identification, invention and implementation of a novel healthcare digital technology product. The programme is linked to a similar programme that has been running at Stanford University, California for 15 years (biodesign.stanford.edu). The Stanford programme has produced over 40 flourishing medtech companies.
The first round of applications to 2016 Fellowship positions close on 31st March. Further details can be found at http://www.eng.ox.ac.uk/
