The Oxford Centre for Spirituality (OCSW) under the auspices of the Oxford Institute of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Research (OxINMAHR) is developing an exciting project that will involve working across academic and health care institutions within Oxford.
One of the key objectives of the project is to develop an initial 2-year programme for OCSW. This will include the development of 2 research projects, an educational programme; the development of collaborative work within OxINMAHR; organising a major conference for researchers amd practitioners and contributing to the strategic development of the work of the centre.
The project development officer will work closely with the Director of OCSW in supporting the development of the centre and will be recruited within OxINMAHR with a base within Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
We seek clinicians who are interested in advancing awareness and understanding of psychologically informed spiritual care (psycho-spiritual care) to transform patient care and experience. Applications are welcomed from experienced practitioners within the field of health and social care who have knowledge and experience in the field of psycho-spiritual care to work half time for 2 years (fixed term contract). It is also possible to be seconded into this post.
