The Centre for Rehabilitation was launched in 2012 in order to bring together research, education and care focused on the needs of adults and children with neurological conditions. Integral to the Centre is a strong, well-published research group, the Movement Science Group, along with clinical expertise, rehabilitation knowledge and care of adults and children with neurological conditions. Guided by adults and children with neurological conditions and their carers, the Centre performs innovative research and effectively translates findings into meaningful outputs for those directly affected. The Centre works closely with leaders from the public, voluntary and corporate sectors as well as the international community in order to develop a sustainable model of world leading, internationally excellent research that directly benefits local neighbourhoods throughout the UK and globally.

The Centre is seeking to recruit a clinical trial co-ordinator to be part of our multidisciplinary team and to work closely with the Principal Investigators, other researchers, clinicians and site staff to ensure GCP compliant and timely delivery of trials. The post holder may also be responsible for supervising the activities of other members of the research team.

Candidates should have a degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant subject, or experience as a clinical trial co-ordinator, along with a track record of successful development and implementation of monitoring procedures and standards in relation to human trials. They should have experience of working within multidisciplinary teams, have excellent presentation and communication skills and have the ability to apply their working knowledge to continuously improve ways of working and delivery in the Centre.
